A treat for the novice to the patron was the juxtaposition of Paley's two dimensional work interspersed amongst the sculpture. This viewer, one of the galleries' artists, was intrigued by the historical yet contemporized mix found in the work. Many of the sculptural pieces brought to mind the works of early Russian constructivists, especially in the layer ribbon twists of metal intertwining with each other forming the more colorful freestanding sculptures and playing a significant role
in the supporting structures of the utilitarian works.

This exhibit on view through October 19th also will have a book signing of Albert Paley's latest release "Albert Paley on Park Avenue" happening tonight October 10th at 7 PM.
